Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988, in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to the retired colonel. Then she was commissioned for three films as part of the Yash Raj Films label. She played a younger wife to an actor of middle age (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka starred with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the film Badmash Company. It received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared in a film called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer in which she portrayed a Punjabi-American girl of middle class, who establishes her wedding planning business. The film was well-received and was a huge success. Anushka's contract for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
